Sora is a fictional character and the main protagonist of the comic Sora, Warrior of the Sea. The character’s exploits are based on the actions of Marine heroes, in order to serve as Marine propaganda.

Appearance

Sora wears a helmet, a dark cape with a symbol resembling the Marines and World Government’s symbols combined, and light gloves.

Personality

Sora is a stereotypical fiction hero, being committed to fighting against the evil forces of Germa 66.

Abilities and Powers

Sora appears able to walk on water.

Weapons

Sora wields a cartoonishly-shaped gun.

History

Throughout the comic strip, Sora fights against Germa 66 with the help of a transforming robot and a pet seagull.

Trivia

• The comic’s protagonist shares a name with the late matriarch of the Vinsmoke Family, incidentally, both Soras chose to stand against Germa 66’s evil deeds. 
• The seagull on top of Sora’s head is similar to Sengoku’s hat.
• In Episode 783, when the comic debuted in the anime, Sora’s name was romanized as “Sola”.
